I manage all of the instrumentation involved in control, monitoring, and materials weight management systems and supervise all electrical installations, maintenance, and upgrades within the manufacturing facility. Fluke Connect saves me time and improves my ability to supervise. Being able to see what my technicians see in real time from my smartphone or tablet from the other side of the plant or hundreds of miles away truly lets me be in two places at once.

We archive a lot of maintenance outcomes and data in our Computerized Maintenance Management Software (CMMS) system, but it doesn’t allow us to record multiple simultaneous measurements such as three-phase. Fluke Connect makes it easy to capture all three phases at once, graph them, and associate them in Fluke Connect to the equipment being measured.

The ability to access all the measurements from one place and see them in relation to each other will definitely expedite troubleshooting and maintenance.

• One each v3000 FC voltage modules and a3001 FC iFlex current modules for conducting three phase load studies and saving to the cloud for baseline comparison
• Two v3001 DC Voltage modules for simultaneous two-point measurements within a control loop

I am responsible for the daily operation and maintenance of a 1.25 million square foot high rise office building. Our tenants expect all systems to be available 24/7. We need to be able to quickly and easily troubleshoot and monitor all systems-electrical, mechanical, and HVAC.

We can use Fluke Connect tools to accomplish that. Whether it’s the Fluke Connect amp or volts modules, iFlex current probe, or DMM, or wireless-enabled Fluke thermal imagers, we can work faster, smarter, and safer. We just hook up the modules at the equipment and move a safe distance away to view the results on a smartphone. The three-phase monitoring will definitely save problem resolution time. So will the ability to zoom into the graph on the smartphone. Plus being able to compare real-time measurements to historical data through the cloud will help us stay on top of potential issues 24/7.

Fluke Connect tools for large scale commercial building maintenance:

• One each v3000 FC voltage module and a3001 FC iFlex current module for conducting circuit tests outside the electrical hazard zone and saving the data to the cloud for team sharing
• One v3001 DC Voltage module for testing backup power systems and saving readiness results to the cloud
• One t3000 temperature module for HVAC heating, cooling and sensor testing
• 805 Vibration Meter for quickly taking vibration readings on important mechanical equipment and saving data to the cloud for management review
• Ti125 Infrared Camera to take thermal images of electro-mechanical equipment, compare to baseline images on file in the app, and submit to management review
